When Taylor, the founder of Synthesis, came to us, he already had a bold vision: a fitness and wellness brand that would immediately stand apart from the countless Los Angeles studios. Synthesis is more than a gym, it’s a community hub blending modern and traditional practices, from Muay Thai HIIT and strength training to mobility, yoga, and meditation. It’s a gateway into martial arts and mindful movement, designed to help members cultivate presence and intention in both body and mind.

OUR APPROACH
Our challenge was to create a brand identity and website that reflected this fusion of tradition and innovation. The branding combines futuristic typography with Japanese-inspired ink patterns, bold yet natural photography, and a dynamic color palette. The distressed ink patterns pay homage to the heritage of martial arts while bringing depth, grit, and cultural resonance to the brand. Together, these elements embody both the strength and discipline of Muay Thai and the tranquility and intentionality of mindfulness practices.
On the web design side, we developed a custom digital experience that highlights Synthesis’s wide range of offerings while keeping navigation clean and intuitive. The site balances bold action visuals with moments of calm, mirroring the brand’s philosophy of uniting power and presence. This approach ensures Synthesis stands out not only as a fitness and wellness studio in Los Angeles, but also as a cultural brand rooted in heritage, community, and elevated design.
