Women’s Clothing Showroom in Los Angeles

August Showroom reflects a refined, contemporary aesthetic that mirrors the ethos of the emerging designer brands it represents. Founded by Melissa Naguiat, the showroom is built on authenticity, lasting relationships, and a hands-on approach to connecting fashion-forward brands with boutique and retail partners. For over 15 years, they’ve championed and nurtured rising fashion talent, thoughtfully introducing them to retailers who value their vision.

Their philosophy is simple: they’re selective, intentional, and deeply engaged. By working closely with each brand, they help them carve out their place in the market and ensure they’re seen by the right buyers at the right time.

OUR APPROACH

For August Showroom, we set out to design a brand and website that reflects the confident yet understated identity of a women’s fashion showroom. The goal was to capture the essence of a boutique insider’s world, curated, stylish, and quietly influential, while creating a digital presence that feels elevated, approachable, and intentional.

From a branding perspective, we developed a simple logo and modern typography system that prioritizes storytelling and discovery over flashy visuals. The website design mirrors the curated experience of walking into a contemporary fashion showroom: minimalist, spacious, and thoughtfully structured. By incorporating generous white space, the site allows emerging designer brands and their imagery to take center stage, giving buyers and boutiques an elevated viewing experience.

Our design choices balanced restraint with personality. A neutral color palette establishes sophistication, while a signature cherry red adds distinction without overpowering the collections. Editorial serif and modern sans serif font pairings, combined with fine line details and intuitive hover effects, create a polished, editorial feel. The result is a showroom website that is both functional and inspiring—helping connect fashion-forward brands with boutique buyers through an elevated digital experience.
